Lead PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead PHP Developer to join our remote team

Work Format: Remote, Full-time

Main Responsibilities:

• Support and Develop: Maintain the existing codebase and create new features for corporate clients.
• Team Leadership: Transition to a team lead role, overseeing a well-coordinated team of mid-level developers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the technical design team, infrastructure team, and support team.
• Product Development: Development, testing, delivery, and production of the product.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Senior Backend Developer Experience:

• Languages & Frameworks: PHP (7, 8.1), Symfony, JavaScript
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB
• Caching & Messaging: Redis, Memcached, ActiveMQ
  
  Leadership & Management:
• Experience managing cross-functional teams
• Operational management and result evaluation
• People management skills: planning, delegation, organization, control, training, and mentoring
  Technical Expertise:
• Extensive experience with system integrations
• HighLoad project experience, especially with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Additional Skills (nice to have):

• DevOps & Cloud: Docker, AWS
• Monitoring & Logging: ELK, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana
• Security & Networking: Keycloak, Nginx, VPN tunneling, and routing
• Experience in creating highly available and secure systems (DevSecOps, DDoS protection)
• Ability to write unit tests and application documentation is a plus

• Engage in product development, from prototyping to production.

Processes:

• Classical product development without matrix structures.
• Work as a senior developer (60%) and technical leader (40%).
• Regular inter-team meetings for up-to-date information and timely feedback.

Requirements:

• Experience managing a development team.
• Skills in people management, including training and mentoring.
• Experience with HighLoad projects and cloud providers.
• Writing unit tests and documentation is a plus.
• Working with AI would be a plus

Language Proficiency:

English level: Upper Intermediate or higher.

Russian level: Upper Intermediate or higher

Conditions:

• Work Format: Remote, Full-time
• Salary: Paid in USD to a personal bank account
• Working Hours: 8-hour workday, 5 days a week (UTC+03:00)
