ULTIMAR is a fully integrated shipping and trading company with offices in the UAE, Greece, and Cyprus. Now we are searching for a highly experienced Financial Controller to join us in Limassol (Cyprus).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on voyage performance, creditors, and debtors balances.
- Conduct variance analysis, reconciliations, and other controls to identify trends, irregularities, and areas of improvement.
- Develop and manage the company's budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data, create dynamic reports, and generate insights for decision-making.
- Work with operational team to develop and implement reconciliation processes of voyages cash flow.
- Continuously review and streamline financial processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Analyze operational costs related to shipping activities against budget, including fuel expenses, maintenance, and logistics.
Requirements:
- Higher education in accounting, finance, or another relevant field, additional finance designations is an advantage;
- 5+ years of experience in finance;
- Proficiency in MS Excel;
- Fluent English and Russian language skills;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills.
