The IT company Andersen invites an experienced QA Automation Engineer (Java) to work on a large-scale project for the UAE customer.
The customer is a leading mobile commerce company dedicated to connecting people to digital experiences through meaningful partnerships. With its businesses the company provides access to over 1.5 billion consumers through more than 85 mobile operators across 75 countries. It specializes in digital content solutions and payment processing services, aiming to offer seamless digital experiences and transactions.
The project is enhancing the efficiency and quality of software testing by optimizing existing processes and implementing/improving automation.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining test frameworks that provide structure and standards for test automation.
- Developing and implementing automated test cases for various functionalities and use scenarios.
- Running both automated and manual tests to verify the functionality, performance, and security of the software.
- Documenting and tracking identified defects and bugs.
- Compiling reports on test execution results, including information on passed and failed tests, identified defects, and the overall quality status of the product.
- Setting up and maintaining the integration of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools with testing processes.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a QA Automation Engineer (Java) for 4+ years.
- Extensive experience in testing complex, full-stack applications, including front-end (UI), back-end (API, services), and database components.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks, with a strong emphasis on Java-based technologies (e.g., Selenium with Java, JUnit, TestNG).
- Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in test automation scripting and framework development.
- Deep understanding of test automation principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Extensive experience in testing RESTful APIs and other web services, including authentication, request/response validation, and error handling.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) for organizing test cases, tracking test execution, and generating reports.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
