We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public & Government Affairs Manager to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and lead our public affairs efforts across Central Asia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the healthcare landscape and contribute to improving patient outcomes in the region.

Position Summary:

The Public & Government Affairs Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitor and analyze healthcare policy changes, and mitigate potential risks to our business in Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asia region. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze healthcare funding and policy in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, advising on potential impacts to the company.
• Build relationships with government agencies and international organizations (e.g., World Bank, ADB, WHO, UNDP, UNICEF and others).
• Identify and mitigate business risks related to policy changes and trade conflicts.
• Collaborate with internal teams.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with government officials and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, pharmacy, medical science, public policy, economics, international relations, communications, marketing).
• 8+ years' experience in healthcare industry or public policy, with a focus on analysis and communication.
• Experience with international organizations (World Bank, etc.) and Central Asian networks is a plus.
• Excellent English and Russian; Kazakh fluency preferred.
