Chief Accountant

A multifamily office acting on behalf of their clients in Russia and abroad is looking for a Chief Accountant who will be working as a sole accountant reporting to the CFO. A solid professional who has 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant in investment industry and is still eager to develop will be the best fit for the role.
Responsibilities:
• Timely, correct and complete accounting and tax records management in accordance with the law, as well as personnel document management (including registration of vacations, business trips, cash advances, etc.)
• Carrying out settlements in foreign banks for a foreign legal entities (mainly the UAE, and Cyprus)
• Preparation of invoices, reconciliation statements and control of document flow for foreign legal entities.
• Interaction with currency control of the banks.
• If necessary, conduct tax adjustments, VAT refunds, income tax refunds, audit procedures.
• Document flow with counterparties.
• Responsibility for the storage of primary documentation.
• Advising on tax, accounting, personnel issues.
• Liaison with tax authorities, banks, government financial services.
• If necessary, advising on accounting and tax issues for shareholders.

Requirements:
• Experience in full accounting and tax accounting of LLCs for at least 5 years (not just maintaining seperate accounting sections, but preparing and submitting all types of reporting for LLCs independently).
• Experience in managing individual entrepreneurs’ accountings.
• Knowledge and understanding of banking currency control requirements.
• Knowledge of foreign bank clients and payment systems.
• Understanding of agent’s VAT.
• Experience in passing desk and on-site audits.
• Clarity, accuracy and brevity in communication, ability to clearly answer questions.
• Commitment and responsibility. All reports must be submitted on time and approved in advance by the financial director.
