A Legal Counsel vacancy has been opened in an international pharmaceutical company.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Law & Commercial Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (distribution, supply, services, clinical trials, IP licensing, marketing, etc.), ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal standards.
- Monitoring Legislative Changes & Business Adaptation: Track relevant regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations; provide timely legal support for local implementation.
- Regulatory Support: Advise on applicable healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations (Federal Law 61-FZ, 323-FZ, medical devices, anti-corruption, data privacy, competition, etc.); support internal audits and interactions with regulatory authorities.
- Intellectual Property: Assist in trademark and patent protection, manage IP risks (including those related to HCP and vendor cooperation), and support enforcement actions against counterfeit or infringing products.
- Promotional & Medical Activities Review: Ensure compliance of promotional materials and HCP/HCO interactions with applicable laws and industry codes (AIPM, IMEDA).
- Dispute Resolution: Handle pre-litigation matters, support negotiation and settlements, liaise with external counsel during litigation and regulatory investigations.
- Corporate Governance & Business Support: Support corporate filings, legal training, and provide day-to-day legal advice to cross-functional teams (medical, marketing, sales, digital, HR, finance).
Requirements:
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or medical company;
- Law degree;
- Fluent English (both written and spoken).
