This is one of the most influential product roles at Viber. As a Product Manager – Platform, you’ll own the technical foundations behind the core app experiences that drive Viber’s global usage. Messaging, communication, and everyday interactions for millions of users around the world. This role sits at the intersection of deep technology and business strategy, requiring you to influence the architecture of massive-scale distributed systems while simultaneously articulating their value to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Viber’s platforms across mobile and desktop clients, in close collaboration with the R&D team.
• Partner with Engineering, Analytics, Business leadership, to define and deliver a product vision that balances user needs, business growth, and technical opportunities.
• Own the measurement and improvement of technical performance and usability across platforms.
• Scale usage, retention, user satisfaction, and monetization through scaling experiences across platforms.
• Define, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for your products. Use this data to make difficult trade-off decisions, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management, including demonstrated experience taking complex technical products or infrastructure platforms from conception to launch.
• 3+ years in Mobile software development
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity or decision-making is a strong advantage
• A strategic thinker with strong execution instincts – able to zoom out to the vision and zoom in on the details
• Experience working directly with engineering teams to define requirements, make technical trade-offs, and manage a product backlog.
• Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in situations of high ambiguity and complexity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across functions and levels
