Solution Architect

Andersen is hiring a Solution Architect to design a next-generation payment platform, delivering scalable, high-performance architecture and seamless integration with banking and external financial ecosystems.

The customer is a leading organization dedicated to driving innovation and digital transformation across multiple sectors. Specializing in areas such as fintech, automation, and AI, the company plays a crucial role in shaping industry advancements. By fostering collaboration, supporting startups, and investing in cutting-edge solutions, the customer significantly contributes to the growth of the regional ecosystem and the broader adoption of digital technologies.

The project is focused on building a next-generation payment platform that integrates payment gateway capabilities, financial instruments, and AI-driven components. The initiative aims to establish a scalable, high-performance, and regulatory-compliant architecture capable of processing transactions, managing risks, and integrating with banking and external payment ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting payment processing systems, including authorization, clearing, settlement and reconciliation.
• Defining API architecture and integration patterns.
• Ensuring systems meet high availability, security and performance requirements for financial transactions.
• Designing event-driven and microservice architectures for payment platforms. Lead architecture reviews and technical governance.
• Supporting engineering teams during implementation.
• Defining data models and transaction flows for payment processing.
• Ensuring compliance with financial industry security standards.

Must-haves:

• Experience in software architecture or solution architecture for 7+ years.
• Experience designing systems for payment processing platforms.
• Experience designing systems for global payment integrations.
• Experience designing systems for core banking integrations.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of API architecture.
• Experience with high-volume transaction systems.
• Russian language.
• Level of English – From Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of Azerbaijani.
