Legal Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing draft internal documents (orders, regulations, instructions).
• Participating in the preparation of responses to inquiries from government agencies.
• Preparing draft contracts (supply, services, leases, NDAs, etc.) using standard forms.
• Legal review of contracts for compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

• Preparing reports, legal opinions, and analytical materials as instructed by the manager.

• Conducting internal audit of each Department to identify the gaps in processes.

• Maintaining and regularly updating a risk register.

• Assessing the impact of risks and developing mitigation plans.

• Monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

• Preparing risk reports for Management.

What We’re Looking For

• Hard & Soft Skills: Civil, labor, and administrative law of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Fundamentals of contract law; Requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of tobacco product circulation and advertising; Skills in working with legal databases (Adilet, Paragraph, etc.).
• Languages Proficiency: Kazkah and/or Russian language; knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Education: Higher education degree in Law is required

Working Conditions

• Full-time position.
• Standard working hours: 08:00–17:00.
