Project: Construction of 500 kV Overhead Transmission Line
Location: Uzbekistan (project field locations, travel as required)
🔎 Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team on the 500 kV OHL project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance across construction activities for high-voltage transmission line works and related installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural inspections of OHTL towers.
Monitor and enforce QA/QC procedures for foundations and installation works.
Supervise quality of conductor stringing and hardware installations.
Inspect materials including steel towers, insulators, conductors, and line hardware.
Prepare, review, and maintain test & commissioning documentation.
Coordinate QA/QC activities with engineering, site teams, and contractors.
Complete inspection reports, ITP checklists, MIRs, and punch lists accurately and on time.
📌 Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 6+ years in QA/QC within construction or power sector.
3–5 years directly on OHTL 220–500 kV or high-voltage substation projects.
Technical Experience with:
Tower structural inspections and erection processes.
Foundation QA/QC practices.
Conductor stringing quality control.
Material inspection (towers, insulators, hardware).
Test & commissioning documentation.
Preferred Certificates:
TB (ТБ) – Safety Training
Electrical Safety Certificate – Group III or IV
Work-at-Height Safety
Basic ISO 9001 Quality Awareness
Minimum Technical Knowledge:
Ability to prepare and fill ITP checklists, MIRs, and punch lists.
Solid understanding of OHL components: towers, insulators, clamps, conductors.
Experience Inspecting:
Tower assembly and erection quality.
Bolt tightening & torque verification.
Concrete foundation QA/QC.
Conductor stringing & tensioning control.
Line hardware installation and verification.
