Senior Software Engineer - Job Requirements

Required Experience:

5+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role
Proven track record of leading technical projects and delivering high-quality software solutions
Experience mentoring developers and contributing to team growth

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
Familiarity with RESTful API design and database optimization
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker)
Knowledge of DevOps principles
Ability to work with AI agents effectively

Leadership & Collaboration:

Capacity to provide constructive feedback through code reviews and pair programming
Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence
Experience guiding architectural decisions and establishing coding standards
Strong collaboration skills for working across product, design, and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):

Experience with React or with similar libraries/frameworks
Experience building backends for mobile applications
Experience with WebSockets, Server Side Events, and building real-time systems
Experience with NestJS and Fastify frameworks
