Senior Quantitative Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantitative Analyst to strengthen our risk analytics and monitoring capabilities. In this role, you will apply rigorous mathematical modeling to analyze market risk, trading behaviors, and execution logic.

We are looking for a self-sufficient problem solver—someone who combines a strong academic background in quantitative sciences with the practical ability to retrieve data, test hypotheses, and implement solutions independently. You will move beyond theoretical research to build logic and tools that directly impact our product offering, having the autonomy to define your methods and the technical freedom to apply modern technologies—including LLMs and AI-driven analysis—that make you most efficient.

This is a full-time position based in Cyprus with a relocation package available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze massive datasets of pricing streams and trade logs to model market risk, execution quality, and flow toxicity
• Develop algorithms to detect abusive trading behaviors such as latency arbitrage, toxic flow patterns, and market manipulation
• Design and validate mathematical models for exposure monitoring and pricing optimization
• Perform Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and back-test hedging logic to improve liquidity management and execution performance
• Build independent monitoring tools to visualize real-time trading metrics, slippage, and system-wide risk exposure
• Leverage modern AI-powered tools to accelerate data analysis, pattern recognition, and research workflows

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or a related quantitative discipline
• Proven experience in Quantitative Risk, Market Microstructure, or Trade Analysis within the FX/CFD industry
• Deep understanding of trading mechanics, including A/B-book management, liquidity aggregation, and pricing formation
• Ability to independently retrieve and analyze high-frequency time-series data to test hypotheses and build logic (using Python, SQL, LLMs, or other modern AI tools)
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate mathematical concepts into practical, automated rules

Nice to have

• Experience applying Machine Learning for anomaly detection or predictive modeling in a trading context
• Familiarity with trading platforms and bridges (e.g., MT4/MT5 servers, FIX protocol)
• Experience with high-performance analytical databases (e.g., ClickHouse)
