Andersen is hiring a Flutter Developer to migrate a mobile banking app to a unified cross-platform solution, improving performance, scalability, and user experience across iOS and Android.
The customer is a mobile-only digital bank offering modern financial services through an app-based experience. The organization provides features such as virtual cards, multi-currency accounts, savings tools, and goal-based financial planning, along with innovative products that support personal and group savings. The project is focused on migrating a mobile banking application to Flutter to create a unified, scalable, and high-performance cross-platform solution for iOS and Android, improving business logic, integrations, UI consistency, and overall user experience while supporting future growth and faster delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining complex, scalable mobile applications using Flutter, including rich UI and advanced business logic for a mobile banking product.
- Participating in technical planning and solution design, including application architecture, technology selection, and integration approach with backend and third-party services.
- Collaborating closely with backend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure secure, stable, and high-performance mobile solutions.
- Implementing and maintaining reusable libraries, shared components, and designing system elements across Flutter applications.
- Optimizing application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness, ensuring smooth user experience on iOS and Android devices.
- Debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues; continuously improving code quality, stability, and maintainability.
- Preparing applications for release and manage publishing to App Store, Google Play, and AppGallery, including compliance with platform guidelines.
- Contributing to technical decision-making, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best practices in Flutter development.
- Staying up to date with modern mobile development trends and apply industry best practices, especially relevant to fintech and banking applications.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Flutter Developer for 2+ years.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Solid hands-on experience with Dart and Flutter framework in production environments.
- Proven experience developing high-load, large-scale mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Practical experience with BLoC architecture patterns and state management.
- Deep understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and build processes.
- Confident use of Flutter SDK tools and libraries to build production-ready applications.
- Experience publishing apps to App Store / Google Play / AppGallery.
- Experience developing native plugins and integrating platform-specific functionality.
- Knowledge of Cupertino and Material Design guidelines.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, as well as WebSockets and GraphQL.
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection (e.g., getIt, injectable).
- Experience working with Firebase services (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging).
- Ability to work with Figma and collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Experience with Flutter Method Channels and interoperability with Java/Kotlin or Objective-C/Swift.
- Experience embedding and managing native views inside Flutter applications.
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to mentor other developers.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
