Software Engineer – AI-assisted SDLC and Quality Gates automation (Intern/Junior)

Description:
Join a team building AI-driven automation that accelerates product delivery for global consumer-facing brands. You’ll develop executable specifications that become intelligent, scalable quality gates in CI/CD pipelines across web, mobile, APIs, data streams, and visual UX. Using cloud platforms and our open-source automation framework, you’ll codify complex business logic at scale—helping products ship faster, with fewer defects and less manual effort.

If you are a 2nd–5th year student of BSU (Faculties of Mechanics and Mathematics, Radiophysics and Computer Technologies or Applied Mathematics), BSUIR (Faculties of Computer Systems and Networks, Information Technologies and Control) or BNTU (Faculties of Information Technology and Robotics), possess a B1+ level of English proficiency, and are available for full-time work, we invite you to apply.
Prior work experience is not required – we are looking for curious problem-solvers with a passion for engineering and innovation.

Responsibilities
- Build executable specifications of product behavior using our open-source platform, transforming them into robust automation that runs in CI/CD.
- Use AI assistants to draft, refactor, and validate automation.
- Design and maintain automated quality gates for web, native mobile, APIs, data pipelines, and visual UX (layout, content, accessibility).
- Implement event-driven validation and data contracts for backend.
- Create resilient configurations that adapt to frequent UI/content updates and brand-specific variations.
- Contribute to analytics on execution stability, result readability, and release risk signals for non-technical stakeholders.
- Work across clouds and DevOps tooling to deploy, run, and scale automation: containers, pipelines, vaults, environments.
- Debug complex failures end-to-end (from code and selectors to network, data, and environment issues) and propose long-term fixes.
- Collaborate in a distributed, Agile environment with product, platform, and engineering teams; help evolve standards and best practices.

Tech you’ll work with
- Tools: Git, Docker, Kubernetes

- Clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP, device clouds (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack)
- Data and integrations: REST/GraphQL, JSON/XML/YAML, SQL/NoSQL
- Ecosystem: major commerce platforms and enterprise CMS

Requirements
Solid coding fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design).
Hands-on in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
Curiosity for complex systems and ability to reason about behavior, edge cases, and scale
Comfort with Git and the command line; basic CI/CD understanding
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; you enjoy breaking down ambiguous problems and shipping practical solutions
Clear communication and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/DOM), APIs, or databases
- Interest in mobile applications, visual UX, E-commerce or CMS
