Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Kazakhstan and Central Asia
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Lead negotiations and close deals that align with company objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, legal, marketing) to support business growth
  • Represent Ligabue Central Asia at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new contracts and tenders
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, labor laws, and industry standards in all business development activities
  • Support contract implementation and client onboarding in coordination with operational teams
  • Provide strategic input into pricing models and service packages based on market demand
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies in new business ventures and partnerships
  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and expansion initiatives
  • Monitor client satisfaction and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual obligations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Specialized training or certifications in Sales, Negotiation, or Project Management.
  • Minimum 5–7 years in business development, sales, or corporate partnerships.
  • Proven track record in business development within HoReCa, with understanding of supply chain, procurement, and customer experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Oil & Gas/Mining sector projects, including familiarity with procurement regulations, tender processes, and compliance standards.
  • Established professional network across both industries, enabling cross-sector partnerships and opportunities.
  • Experience in multinational or cross-cultural environments
  • Strong understanding of Kazakhstan’s business landscape and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Kazakh, Russian, and English
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building long-term client relationships
  • Analytical mindset and business intelligence tools
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Strategic Business Development
    • Identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities in HoReCa and Oil & Gas/Mining.
    • Designing and executing growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Building long-term partnerships with key clients, suppliers, and government bodies.
  • Networking & Relationship Management
    • Leveraging established contacts in Oil & Gas/Mining to secure projects and partnerships.
    • Cultivating relationships with HoReCa operators, distributors, and service providers.
    • Diplomatic communication and conflict resolution across departments and industries.
  • Sales & Negotiation
    • Expertise in tender preparation, bid management, and commercial offers.
    • Skilled in high-value contract negotiation and closing complex deals.
    • Ability to adapt proposals to diverse audiences (corporate boards, government agencies, hospitality executives).
  • Operational & Regulatory Knowledge
    • Familiarity with hospitality service standards, customer satisfaction metrics, and operational efficiency.
    • Deep understanding of Oil & Gas/Mining compliance requirements, procurement laws, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards applicable to both sectors.
  • Analytical & Organizational Skills
    • Market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking for strategic positioning.
    • Strong project management, scheduling, and resource allocation abilities.
    • Methodical approach to compliance, accountability, and procedural accuracy.
