About the Project

Join a fast-growing tech company (est. in 2003, 250K+ professional users) to build and scale their enterprise data ecosystem. You’ll work hands-on with modern data stack technologies—AWS, Kafka, DBT, Airflow—to design pipelines, enable real-time analytics, and empower cross-functional teams with reliable data.

What You’ll Do

✔ Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, Airflow.
✔ Model data architecture for the Redshift data warehouse (dimensional modeling, Data Vault).
✔ Integrate real-time event streams with Apache Kafka to expand data sources and freshness.
✔ Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
✔ Optimize performance of business-critical queries and overall data platform efficiency.
✔ Implement data governance and ensure security across the platform.
✔ Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmap decisions.

Tech Stack You’ll Use

• Languages: SQL, Python (Pandas, PySpark)

• Cloud: AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda, EC2)

• Data Engineering: DBT, Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark

• BI & Analytics: Integration with Tableau/Looker/Power BI

• Methodologies: Data Vault, dimensional modeling, ELT/ETL design

Who We’re Looking For

✅ 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in analytics-focused environments.
✅ Expertise in AWS Redshift, DBT, Airflow, and Kafka (real-time streaming).
✅ Strong SQL and Python skills for pipeline development and optimization.
✅ Experience with data modeling for warehousing and reporting.
✅ Background in FinTech, SaaS, or Go-To-Market analytics domains.
✅ Ability to collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
✅ Excellent communication in English (daily syncs with US-based teams).

Nice to Have

🔸 Experience with Snowflake or migration from legacy systems.
🔸 Knowledge of data governance and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
🔸 Previous work in product analytics or user behavior data pipelines.
