Job purpose
Manage and deliver ongoing tax consulting projects for external clients from various industries, participation in business development initiatives; manage and coordinate project team
Role and responsibilities
- Preparation of tax memoranda and tax reports;
- Participation in tax review, tax due diligence, and tax structuring projects;
- Management of the whole client project cycle on multiple projects (proposals, risk management procedures, contracting, organization of project team and process, regular reporting on the project status to senior colleagues, ensuring of technical quality of project results, regular communication with clients on the projects, billing and cash collection);
- Train staff, review and evaluate their work;
- Preparation of newsletters, participation in technical trainings and client seminars;
- Building new and develop existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
Knowledge and skills required
Work experience
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in tax consulting
Hard skills
- General knowledge of accounting
- Experience with accounting software (1C, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
- Proficient knowledge of English (written and verbal) and fluency in Kazakh or Russian languages
- ACCA or ADIT would be a plus
