About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Quantity Takeoff Specialist to support a bookkeeping firm that works with construction companies. The role is focused exclusively on preparing accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings. The collected data will be used by accounting teams for further calculations and job costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction drawings

• Measure material quantities, areas, lengths, and unit counts

• Prepare structured and accurate takeoff reports

• Work with PDF plans using professional takeoff software

• Clarify scope-related questions based on drawings when needed

• Deliver consistent and well-organized quantity data to internal teams

Role Scope:

This position is focused solely on quantity measurement and data preparation. Pricing, labor calculations, budgeting, and cost estimating are handled by other teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience performing construction quantity takeoffs

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Stack, or similar

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets

Nice to Have:

• Experience with US construction projects

• Residential or light commercial construction background

• Familiarity with common construction materials and divisions
