JOB PURPOSE:

To lead the P&C activities for all business units and be the first point of contact with the relevant heads and employees for all P&C-related requests and initiatives at his/ her assigned region.

Accountable to ensure HR initiatives are designed to meet business needs and are properly deployed.

  • Contribute to the organization structure, required profiles, staffing, job descriptions and KPI’s.
  • Orientation of new/existing employees.
  • Accountable for ensuring all approved change actions within pay cycle. For example: promotions, salary increments, grading changes, transfers etc.. are reflected promptly and accurately in the system
  • New joiner's announcement.
  • Ensure mid-year and end year performance reviews are completed on time.
  • Monitor HR company policies & ensure they are compliant with the local regulations and Labour law.
  • Support in managing the employee's grievances on sites.
  • Ensure all required compliance certificates are obtained (country-specific).
  • Acting as a point of contact for employees with HR-related queries or issues.
  • Providing support in updating the employee handbook and HR policies.
  • Prepare documentation for audits and ensuring that HR records are maintained properly.
  • Coordination of employee engagement initiatives on site (team-building events, dinners etc.)
  • Collate the data analysis such as Turn-over, absenteeism, overtime for HR analytics reporting
  • Stay updated on immigration laws and processes specific to the country where the expatriate will be relocated.
  • Coordinate with HR admin team to compile required documents such as passport copies, academic certificates, medical reports, and police clearances for work permits.
  • Coordination between TA and TMCB for hiring and training sessions.
  • Works closely with the HSSE team to promote the health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Supports in investigating workplace incidents or violations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-ups.
  • Responsible to maintain accurate employee records in the system for all employees and generate reports on various HR metrics.
  • Provide HR-related guidance and support to Manager, Plant/Project management and supervisors.
  • Allocate resources to P&C initiatives and manage the workload.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement programs.
  • Contribute to the conception and roll out of change and business quality programs and propose specific programs.
  • Lead and handle employee grievances, coaching, disciplinary actions on the ground
  • Cascade all P&C practices and policies and ensure compliance.
  • Convert business plans and budgets into people needs for all staff.
  • Monitor the realization of the manpower plans and staffing budgets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Act as a catalyst for the change management process by promoting change and new ways of doing things by influencing others within the organization ensuring employee buy in and motivation.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a close advisor to the business heads providing guidance on managing talent and resources, identifying new initiatives & programs, potential upcoming issues/opportunities etc.
  • Be the point of liaison for the employees to improve employee relationships, build morale and increase overall team’s productivity and retention.
  • Provide P&C policy guidance and interpretation to the business and act as the expert to all related HR topics.
  • Work closely with P&C peers to ensure all initiatives & programs design are fit to purpose and meet business requirements and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, psychology, or any other related discipline
  • CIPD or SHRM or any relevant certification is highly preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Human resources field with a minimum of 5 years as HRBP in a complex matrixed organization
