QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript)

Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript) to build an end-to-end test automation framework for a large digital platform with APIs, payments, and high-load user flows.

The customer is a global technology company delivering a large-scale digital platform that connects businesses, partners, and end users through a unified ecosystem for content distribution, subscription lifecycle management, analytics, and integrated payments. Its solutions operate at high traffic volumes across multiple markets, support millions of active users, and require complex integrations with external systems via APIs, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and security in a production-critical environment.

The project is focused on supporting an existing product with a dedicated QA team, building a comprehensive test automation framework from scratch, and implementing end-to-end automation across security, performance, UI, and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test suites for UI and API layers (Playwright Node.js and/or Java Selenium/RestAssured).
• Building end-to-end automated coverage from scratch for the defined tenants/products, including regression and critical user journeys.
• Executing hands-on manual validation when needed (feature testing, exploratory testing, release verification) to ensure full-cycle QE ownership.
• Collaborating with System Analyst, QA Manager, and engineering squads to refine test scenarios, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure traceability.
• Contributing to non-functional quality efforts (e.g., performance/security testing support, quality risk assessment) and helping close coverage gaps.

Must-haves:

• Experience in QA with a strong automation engineering background for 3+ years.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright (Node.js).
• Strong knowledge of web application testing, REST/GraphQL API testing, and test design techniques.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile delivery.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
