Safety Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our trucking company. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in FMCSA regulations, driver compliance, safety protocols, incident reporting, and drug & alcohol testing procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all FMCSA and DOT compliance

• Oversee drug & alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion)

• Monitor ELD logs, HOS, DVIR, inspections, and driver qualification files

• Handle safety violations, incident reports, and corrective actions

• Conduct driver orientation and ongoing safety training

• Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure all units meet required safety standards

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in trucking safety (FMCSA/DOT)

• Knowledge of FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse procedures

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and stay organized
