Метро: НемигаYour Role
We're looking for a sharp, product-savvy Gameplay Research Analyst to own the intersection of player experience and business impact in a skill-based real-money solitaire game.
You’ll work on gameplay systems where every change affects not only engagement and satisfaction—but also player incentives, win dynamics, and real-money outcomes. Your job is to design, test, and optimize these systems: tuning reward pacing, matchmaking logic, win-rate distribution, and progression structure to balance fairness, excitement, and monetization.
This is not a traditional data science role. We’re not building neural networks—we’re designing algorithms and simulations that optimize real-world gameplay for skill-based RMG. You'll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to improve live player outcomes and key business metrics like LTV, retention, and game-level profitability.
What You'll Do
- Run simulations and model in-game mechanics (e.g. reward curves, win-rate pacing, session structure)
- Design and analyze AB tests that optimize both UX and monetization
- Work on systems like RTP balancing, streak design, and level flow
- Spot behavioral patterns in live data and translate them into experiments or policy changes
- Collaborate with product managers and game designers to create new features or adjust tuning based on results
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in product analytics, game economy, or research analysis roles
- Strong background in statistical modeling, simulations, or experiment design
- Proficiency with SQL and Python for analysis, and confidence building models from scratch
- Comfortable working with uncertainty, proposing hypotheses, and iterating fast
- Experience in game, gambling, or behavioral UX environments is a plus
- Clear communicator who can explain tradeoffs and model results to product and design teams
Nice-to-Haves
- Worked with progression systems or in-game reward pacing
- Experience designing or analyzing real-money or probabilistic game systems
- Familiarity with experimentation tooling (Amplitude, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic multi-armed bandit or dynamic allocation algorithms
Why Join Us
- Build real systems used by thousands of players every day
- Work directly with founders and senior game designers—zero org bloat
- Shape gameplay deeply, from core loops to monetization pacing
- Competitive salary, early-stage equity, flexible remote setup
