Engineer QC/QA

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the compliance of the cost of completed construction and installation works with their volume and quality, in accordance with project documentation, estimates, building codes, and technical specifications.

• Participate in the preparation and execution of general and subcontract agreements for capital construction within the scope of assigned duties.

• Carry out technical supervision of construction and installation works, acceptance of works and completed facilities.

• Verify the compliance of construction volumes and structures with the approved project and estimate documentation, working drawings, building norms and regulations, standards, technical specifications, and occupational safety requirements.

• Participate in decision-making regarding changes to the project related to the introduction of advanced technological processes, spatial and structural solutions aimed at reducing costs and improving the technical and economic performance of construction and reconstruction projects.

• Participate in reviewing and approving design changes arising during construction; promptly resolve issues regarding the replacement of materials, products, and structures without compromising the quality of construction.

• Analyze the causes of delays and quality deterioration in construction and installation works, and participate in developing and implementing corrective measures.

• Perform technical acceptance of completed construction and installation works and facilities; prepare and maintain the necessary technical documentation.

• Participate in the work of commissions for the acceptance and commissioning of construction facilities.

• Keep records of completed construction and installation works and prepare data for construction progress reporting.

• Perform control over:

  • the availability and correctness of primary technical documentation, as well as updates made to it based on identified deficiencies and defects in construction and installation works;

  • the quality of construction materials used by contractors.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education (construction or engineering).

• Proven work experience in the field — at least 6 years.

• Mandatory valid certificate of a Technical Supervision Engineer.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards (SNiP, GOST, TNPА of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to read design and as-built documentation.

• Responsibility, attention to detail, teamwork skills.

• Experience with state inspections.

• Coordination with designers, subcontractors, and clients.

• Performing technical supervision on-site, verification of logs and as-built documentation.

• Developing and monitoring construction schedules for contractors.

• A specialist with a higher education diploma in urban planning and a minimum of six years of work experience, holding a valid qualification certificate.
