Market Operations Intern

AIX is looking for Market Operations Intern with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or IT along with substantial experience in stock market, investment, or portfolio management. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional English language proficiency, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve a common goal. Responsibilities

Operational responsibilities:

· Daily implementation of system start-up and end-of-day procedures;

· Update and maintain all static data (related to market participants, traded instruments, trading calendar and etc.) across the various AIX systems (trading platform and surveillance systems);

· Assist to monitor trading sessions to ensure a fair and orderly trading;

· Manage technical emergencies and communication to market participants in case of technical issues;

· Provide the high-level business operations support, assistance and information to market participants and business partners including brokerage houses, data vendors, post-trade operators;

· Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support;

· Preparing different types of documents, including reports, contracts etc.

· Assistance in Preparing regular (monthly) reporting as well as ad hoc requests;

· Preparing all tasks on time and submit reports to Associate.

Requirements

· Past exposure to highly automated working environments;

· Solid knowledge of financial markets;

· Attention to details;

· Ability to prioritize work;

· Experience with data reporting and data analytics;

· Advanced Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel). Candidates might be requested to take an Excel test;

· Team player with high resistance to stressful situations and open to flexible working hours arrangements;

· BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Economics, Statistics or equivalent.
