Position Overview:
As HR Manager, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting international hires throughout their relocation and onboarding, and driving internal learning and development initiatives. You'll also contribute to building a strong organizational culture and improving HR systems and processes in a dynamic, international university environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment process: post job openings, review CVs, conduct interviews, check references, and provide feedback.
Support international employees during their relocation:
Before arrival: collect documents, arrange visas and work permits. After arrival: help with finding accommodation, completing local registration, opening bank accounts, and getting medical insurance.Organize onboarding and introduction sessions to help new staff settle in quickly.
Plan and coordinate staff development activities such as trainings, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Promote a friendly and inclusive work environment by organizing team-building and engagement events.
Take part in improving HR processes related to international staff.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in HR, especially in recruitment, onboarding, or international staff support.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.
Experience in an international or academic environment is a plus.
English fluency is essential; Russian and/or Kazakh language skills are an advantage.
