JavaScript developer in ServiceNow platform

About the project:

• Use your JavaScript skills to design and implement server-side logic, integrations and applications on the ServiceNow platform
• Build automated workflows, business rules, and platform scripts, occasionally extending or adjusting UI components where needed
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs, working with data models, payloads, and error handling
• Work with relational data models and queries to support platform features and integrations
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and architects in international teams to translate business processes into technical workflows
• Learn ServiceNow development through structured onboarding and certification programs

• 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in backend or full-stack roles

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, including asynchronous programming and server-side logic

• Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP) and data exchange, including designing or implementing integration flows

• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL (queries, joins, basic data modelling)

• Experience with Angular / React / HTML / CSS, ideally in combination with backend or full-stack work

• Familiarity with ITSM concepts, ITIL framework, and/or workflow automation on enterprise platforms

• Good problem-solving & debugging abilities, both for application logic and integration issues

• Comfortable working in English (written & spoken)

• Proactive, curious, willing to learn new technologies and grow into the ServiceNow ecosystem

• Exposure to enterprise platforms or workflow/business applications, such as CRM, ITSM, ERP or low-code platforms

• Experience in client-facing or consulting roles

• Strong interest in platform engineering, workflow automation, integrations and scripting on top of enterprise systems
