English teacher's Assistant

Bilimkana American School was founded in 2016. The school is located in the centre of Bishkek city. It consists of primary, secondary, and high school. Qualification requirements:

• Incomplete/complete undergraduate programme in English Language Teaching (ESL) – Bachelor’s degree
• Valid IELTS/TOEFL certificate is an asset
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching pupils
• Computer literacy with practical experience using Microsoft applications and MS Office package
• Experience in using EduPage.org will be an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team

Duties:

Under the supervision of the Head of English Department, the English teacher's assistant will:

• Assist in teaching and conducting the classes according to the Bilimkana American School English Language Programme
• Provide high-quality academic services to all pupils and strive to improve their English and potential
• Assist in the students' assessment on a regular basis and according to the given syllabus (quarterly and half-yearly)
• Prepare presentations and print the handouts or any other material for the English teachers
• Provide all the necessary reports to the English teachers and/or the Head of English Department
• Create and propose new academic techniques and tools together with the Head of English Department and other English teachers in order to improve the educational content of the school
• Participate in all the necessary staff meetings, events, and other activities directed at developing and improving of the educational process.

Conditions:

We are hiring full-time and part-time teachers' assistants for the 2025-2026 school year. The workload will depend on teaching/working hours.
