We are looking for a skilled and motivated SQL Developer with strong expertise in the SQL Server family to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in designing and optimizing SQL queries, procedures, and database structures. This role involves developing and maintaining high-performance database solutions, supporting application teams, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of mission-critical systems.

Required skills:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience as an SQL Developer, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong T-SQL skills, including query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with database design, normalization, indexing strategies, and query execution plans.
- Familiarity with SQL Server features such as triggers, functions, and stored procedures.
- Experience working with large datasets and transactional and analytical workloads.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic DevOps practices.
- English B2+.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with Azure SQL Database or other SQL Server cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, or other SQL Server ecosystem tools.
- Exposure to columnstore indexes, partitioning, or advanced query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with other database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Implement and maintain database structures, indexes, and constraints to support application and reporting needs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues, applying best practices for query tuning and index optimization.
- Support ETL processes and data integration tasks within SQL Server environments.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and analysts to deliver reliable and scalable database solutions.
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and security policies.
