Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic tax concepts and actively seek to increase tax knowledge through client assignments and staying updated on current tax developments.
Prepare, research, and identify tax issues using appropriate resources, and clearly and logically document all tax work for review by others.
Thoroughly and accurately analyze information, arriving at appropriate engagement conclusions and recommendations.
Document work papers and advice, draft client correspondence, and effectively communicate with clients and EY personnel.
Be a proactive team player, ready to take responsibility and show initiative.
Requirements:
The final year of a bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Tax, or Law.
Advanced level of English.
Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of Kazakhstan taxation.
Knowledge of accounting and familiarity with 1C and/or other ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Hardworking and eager to work.
Positive attitude.
Team player.
Work experience in accounting, tax, finance, or law is preferable but not mandatory.
