Position Summary
Responsible for controlling the project costs; this includes planning, developing, controlling, and forecasting the project's budget. The ultimate goal of a cost controller is to minimize the deviation from the budget and ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform cost control, calculation of margin per activity, budgeting, etc.
- Control project cost accounts, coordinate their opening and closing according to the schedule and project status
- Ensure proper progress measurement is in place for all project activities through the whole project cycle
- Prepare acts of acceptance, debit notes and invoices related to the contract with the customer.
- Provide timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period for the project control accounts to warrant proper monthly cost report
- Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations and recommend remedial actions
- Establish effective relationship with providers and ensure control of invoices and acts of acceptance, issuance and control of payment orders.
- Establish effective relationship with accounting team, Accounting Department at SUEZ Headquarters: timely prepare documents and reports when needed.
- Interface with other project controls staff to prepare and maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system
- Ensure correct archiving of documents to allow easy retrieval upon request.
- Ensure protection of interests, non-disclosure of confidential information and documents to the third parties;
- The job duties is not exhaustive and may assume additional tasks within the competence of the incumbent.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in business administration, contract management, finance or similar field.
- MBA is a benefit;
- Good knowledge of accounting and cost control
- Prior cost control experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
- Prior experience in cost analysiss, accounts payable/reveiveable, payroll, local taxation;
- Fluency Russian, English languages;

The company has signed a 7-year contract with Tashkent city municipality and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services on March 7, 2020.
Project: Tashkent water transformation plan
The total budget of the project is 185.4 million euros, of which 142 million euros will be disbursed through loans from leading European banks - the funds will be used to modernize urban water supply and sewerage networks and improve their management in accordance with the highest international standards.
Main activity:
- Upgrade Tashkent water public service to an international standard
- Bring the experience of SUEZ, introduce modern technologies, equipment and software to improve the management of drinking water supply and sewage system in the city of Tashkent
- Improve financial sustainability of the water service.
