IT Business / System Analyst

The AIFC Authority is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager (IT Business/System Analyst) to drive the successful execution of IT projects. This position requires expertise in both business analysis and project management to oversee projects from initiation to post-implementation.

Key responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze business requirements for new systems and solutions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for IT development teams.

• Document business requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.

• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and Functional Testing.

• Develop test cases and collaborate with QA teams to ensure requirements are met.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in IT business/system analysis in cross-functional technology environments.

• Expertise in gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional specifications.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

• Strong experience in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flows.

• Knowledge of API integration, data mapping, and system workflow design.

• Proven ability to support UAT, conduct gap analysis, and assist in solution validation.

• Experience in preparing business and functional requirements for software.

• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile are a plus.

• Experience with software engineering, system analysis, or IT architecture is a plus.

• English - Intermediate or higher

• Kazakh and Russian - preferred

• Project Management Tools: MS Project, JIRA, Confluence

• Business Process Modeling: BPMN 2.0

• Testing & API Tools: Postman, Swagger, REST API

• Prototyping & Design Tools: Figma, Miro

• Microsoft Tools: MS Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI)

• Database & Query Skills: SQL, CRM Bitrix (configuration/automation skills)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented

• Ability to collaborate and manage cross-functional teams

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
