We’re currently looking for a full-time Customer Support Specialist who speaks English and Spanish very fluently. As an option Portuguese or Turkish instead of Spanish.

The purpose of this position is to assist and guide international students through the registration process.

Qualifications

Proficiency in two foreign languages:

  • English level C1-C2 (Necessarily!)
  • High level (C1-C2) of Spanish (Necessarily!). As an option Portuguese or Turkish instead of Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Register and enroll international students
  • Process student registration, transfer and termination documents
  • Provide students with appropriate documentation such as employment authorizations, letters, etc.
  • Garner information from International database for financial department and student records
  • Follow-up with other schools regarding transfer students
  • Follow-up with students regarding attendance, payments and registration
  • Advise students on academic and immigration issues
  • Communicate with Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) helpdesk
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Working conditions

  • Work-at-home position
  • Work schedule after 9 am - 5 pm (Chicago time, USA)
