TechLead Python FastAPI

A US-based startup (currently operating from Dubai) is building a modular AI platform that enables users to create, connect, and monetize intelligent agents (AIPs) through a no-code/low-code interface. The platform includes a visual workflow builder, real-time chat with media support, subscription and licensing features, a user dashboard, and tools for integration and scalability.

• Backend is ~70% complete, frontend ~5%.

• The scope includes finishing the frontend build, finalizing backend features, completing full integration, and supporting staging, QA, and production launch.

Tech stack: Python (FastAPI), React, Node.js, scalable backend infrastructure, secure API integrations, FastAPI, file/code scanning.

Responsibilities:

• Audit the existing backend codebase (Python/FastAPI).

• Proven experience acting as a Tech lead - able to audit codebases, make architectural decisions, and guide integration processes.

• Finalize backend features and ensure seamless integration with the frontend.

• Collaborate with the frontend team to deliver a fully functional platform.

• Support QA, staging, and production readiness (including DevOps-related tasks).

• Work closely with client-side engineers for knowledge transfer.

• Participate in regular team processes (managed directly by the client).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python/FastAPI optional .

• Proven background in complex SaaS platforms or AI-powered tools (например курсов, клод, лингма, квен и тд).

• Strong knowledge of scalable backend architecture.

• Experience with API integrations and data security.

• English level B2
