PR Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Builds and maintains sustainable relationships with media outlets at both national and regional levels.
• Prepares and distributes press releases, media kits, and official responses to media inquiries.
• Develops strategy and content plans for offline and online channels, including corporate websites, social media, and internal news platforms.
• Writes, edits, and adapts texts in Kazakh, Russian, and, when required, English.
• Conducts regular monitoring of media coverage related to the company, its industry, and competitors.
• Prepares analytical reports with recommendations for managing reputational risks.
• Maintains a database of Q&As, key messages, and storytelling cases for executive public speaking.
• Plans and implements PR campaigns, including social initiatives, charitable support, sponsorships, CSR projects, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Coordinates external service providers (event agencies, designers, copywriters, videographers, photographers, etc.).
• Participates in the development and upkeep of the company’s Crisis Communications Plan.
• Prepares timely responses for social media and media outlets in the event of negative incidents.
• Supports corporate culture through internal communications, newsletters, team-building activities, and town hall meetings.
• Maintains working relationships with partners, industry associations, and government bodies on communication-related matters.
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on PR performance KPIs (Share of Voice, sentiment, reach, engagement, campaign ROI).
• Contributes to the company’s annual report in sections related to sustainability, ESG, and CSR.

• Transportation is affecting all and attention shall be drawn toward safe behavior as passenger and/or driver. You are obliged to follow the Operational Safety Procedure for Road Safety.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of governmental processes in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic responses.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan’s labor legislation.
• Internal labor regulations and etiquette labor regulations.
• Understanding of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, and fire safety regulations.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Language requirements: Kazakh (fluent), Russian (fluent), English (fluent).
