Nauсhsoft is an international company specializing in IT consulting and software development. We have been working in the IT business for 36 years and continue to grow. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team.
Project context
- Corporate website with high traffic, advanced integrations, and continuous feature delivery; it is a key marketing channel and requires strict reliability and speed control.
- Tech stack: PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript; CMS: Pimcore 10.6; key integrations: Piwik (analytics), SharePoint (data sync), Cloudflare (performance/security).
- Main AWS services used: EC2, RDS (MySQL), ElastiCache (Redis), VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Route 53, S3, EFS, ECR, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, KMS.
- CI/CD adoption is planned by the end of 2025; the DevOps Engineer will lead the design and rollout.
Core responsibilities
- Website availability monitoring and incident response: track uptime and response times, maintain clear alerts, restore service quickly, and escalate risks to the PM.
- Web server lifecycle management: planned, safe upgrades and environment consistency across dev/stage/prod.
- Certificates, HTTPS, and redirects management: continuous monitoring, alerts, and fast troubleshooting.
- Cloudflare administration: configuration audits and tuning for speed and protection.
- Cloud cost management: usage reviews with actionable savings recommendations.
- Integration reliability: keep them stable; flag issues early.
- CI/CD rollout: set up a stable automated build-and-release process for predictable deployments and easy rollbacks.
Requirements
- Production experience with Nginx, PHPFPM, Varnish, Redis, and Cloudflare.
- MySQL: hands-on administration and performance tuning; preferably on Amazon RDS (MySQL)
- Practical AWS operations with the following services: EC2, RDS (MySQL), ElastiCache (Redis), VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Route 53, S3, EFS, ECR, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, KMS; including rightsizing and storage/network optimization.
- Monitoring and incident response: able to set up useful dashboards/alerts and own incidents from alert to resolution and prevention.
- Experience with Pimcore 10.x environments and third-party integrations (Piwik, SharePoint).
- CI/CD: introduced and operated pipelines for web deployments with safe rollbacks.
- Proven website speed improvements and CDN tuning - strong plus.
