Data Protection Officer / Специалист по внутреннему контролю за обработкой персональных данных

VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, is looking for Data Protection Officer (DPO) in Belarus.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a contact person with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Belarus, supervisory authorities and internal corporate team;
• Identify and evaluate the company’s data processing activities;
• Monitor data management procedures and their compliance in the company across Belarus;
• Engage in business process discussions with company management to ensure that personal data is protected at all levels;
• Ensure we address all queries from data subjects within legal timeframes;
• Write and update detailed guides on data protection policies;
• Conduct regular audits and determine if we need to change our procedures to comply with regulations;
• Offer consultation on how to deal with privacy breaches;
• Arrange for training on personal data protection for employees;
• Follow up with changes in law and issue recommendations to ensure compliance.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Higher education and relevant experience in Legal or Compliance;
• Working experience in data protection and legal compliance preferably international company;
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws;
• Ability to negotiate and influence;
• Perfect business communication skills;
• Upper-intermediate in English is a must.
