Frontend Engineer (Middle / Strong Middle)

About us. We’re a California-based product company shipping web products at scale. We’re looking for a hands-on Frontend Engineer to build fast, reliable, and beautiful user experiences.

What you’ll do

• Ship features end-to-end in React/TypeScript (design system, state, data, tests, rollout).
• Drive performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility (WCAG), and UX quality.
• Implement SSR/ISR with Next.js; own build tooling and optimize bundles/integrations.
• Add analytics/experimentation (A/B), telemetry, and reliability guardrails.
• Partner with product/design/backend to turn specs into measurable outcomes.

What you bring

• 3+ years building production web apps; deep React + TypeScript.

• Strong HTML/CSS, responsive layout, accessibility, component architecture.

• Experience with Next.js (or other SSR), modern bundlers (Vite/Webpack), REST/GraphQL.

• Testing culture: Jest/RTL + Playwright/Cypress; CI/CD and code review discipline.

• Performance chops: profiling, code-splitting, caching, network/runtime optimization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Libre and Open WebUI (self-hosted LLM UIs).

• Design systems (Storybook), Tailwind/shadcn, state libs (RTK/Zustand).

• Node.js for edge/server components; Vercel/GCP/AWS; Sentry/Datadog.

• Familiarity with LLM-powered UX or chatbot integrations.
