Legal Counsel

We are looking for a qualified Legal Councel Russia to oversee the legal aspects of our FMCG-Food business. You will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and give legal advices to local management about all relevant issues.

Responsibilities:

• Give accurate and timely legal support to the local business in a variety of legal topics with focus on contract management and risk assessment;
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues;
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations;
• Collaborate with local management ato devise efficient defense strategies;
• Specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance;
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.

If you have:

• Proven experience as Legal Councel in business environment in FMCG (Food is preferable) or Consumer Goods business;
• Multinational exlerience on the local ground in a matrix organisation;
• English - fluent;
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity;
• Expertise with intellectual property, sales and marketing legal support;
• Leadership and full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation;
• Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies;
• Knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures;
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information;
• Communication skills;
• BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree
