We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Astana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process journal entries, including accruals and deferrals.

• Restoration of accounting and document management.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Understands local tax laws and international financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Confident user of 1C accounting system.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Fluency in English (B2 or higher, ability to speak), with proficiency in Russian and Kazakh being beneficial.
• Diploma in IFRS (DipIFR), ACCA, or CPA is considered a plus.
• Experience in Big4 accounting firms is considered a plus.
