Wordpress Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.

• Work with custom post types, taxonomies, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and responsiveness.

• Implement integrations with third-party services and APIs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on existing WordPress websites.

• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend developers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in WordPress development.

• Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress architecture (hooks, filters, actions).

• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including jQuery).

• Familiarity with Git version control.

• Understanding of WordPress REST API and experience working with JSON.

• Intermediate English, fluent Russian.

Nice to Have

• Experience with page builders like Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery.

• Knowledge of React or willingness to learn for Gutenberg block development.

• Experience with WooCommerce.

• Basic understanding of server configuration (e.g., Nginx, crontab).

• Docker (basic level).
