Unity Developer

Andersen is hiring a Unity Developer for a fintech project in Uzbekistan. The role involves building a 3D eco-simulator game that gamifies financial services, allowing users to earn rewards and develop their virtual environment.

The customer is a leading fintech company in Uzbekistan with over 20 million users. Founded in 2011, it has grown into a multifunctional platform that offers payments, transfers, utilities, loans, and lifestyle services in one application. With strong growth, thousands of partners, and a major regional partnership, it is recognized as a market leader in digital financial services.

The project is the development of an innovative 3D mobile game in the eco-simulator and farming genre, designed to introduce gamification into the core processes of the main application.

Responsibilities:

• Developing the client-side in Unity (main focus — frontend: ~80%).
• Basic integration with the backend (~20%).
• Participating in building the project architecture from scratch to release.
• Supporting and scaling the project as functionality grows.
• Implementing and optimizing complex UI interfaces.
• Working with core and meta game mechanics (progression, levels, upgrades, in-game economy).
• Setting up animations, visual effects, and interactions.
• Influencing product decisions together with the game designer and producer.

Must-haves:

• Commercial Unity development experience for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of C#, understanding of OOP and architectural patterns.
• Experience releasing at least two mobile games (iOS + Android) as a Unity developer.
• Experience creating and optimizing 3D scenes and interactions.
• UI development skills: layout, logic, navigation, optimization.
• Proficiency with Git; knowledge of CI/CD principles is a plus.
• Experience optimizing builds (size, performance, FPS).
• Team player, strong communication skills, results-oriented mindset.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with game mechanics in genres like farming, simulators, economic games.
• Understanding of free-to-play specifics and game analytics.
• Wide exposure to mobile games.
• Experience with Addressables, AssetBundles, Unity Profiler.
• Basic understanding of client-server interaction (REST, WebSocket).
