Hotel Manager

The MINSK MARRIOTT HOTEL is looking for the HOTEL MANAGER.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Along with the General Manager responsible for the management Hotel staff.
• Direct reporting to the General Manager.
• Increased productivity through increased sales and appropriate cost management.
• Organization of the day-to-day business operations with the goal of optimal performance in terms of utilization, turnover, and guest satisfaction.
• Continuous optimization of services and verification of hotel standards.
• Participation in the preparation of the annual budget and forecast, as well as analysis of the P & L results.
• Replacing of the General Manager in his absence.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.
• 4 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.

OR

• 2 years experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area.
• Extensive experience in the field of tourism and hospitality.
• Familiar with Marriott hotel chain standards.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
• Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
• Russian language – good oral and written skills (as applicable).
• English – excellent oral and written skills.

COMPETENCIES:

• Sound experience in the operational management of a house in the order of at least 150 rooms or operational experience from a deputy position.
• Ideally, current focus in the area of rooms, as well as affinity to the F&B area.
• The ability to motivate and lead a team of over 200 employees as a role model.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action combined with a sense of responsibility and loyalty to Marriott Hotels.
• Enjoying being a host and team player and being available as a contact person.
• Resilience and the ability to keep a calm mind even in stressful situations.
• Excellent manners.
