We are a B2B food marketplace with a focus on the EMEA region, connecting suppliers, processors, and distributors across borders. Our platform helps wholesale buyers and sellers transact more efficiently across multiple food and beverage categories.
We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Wholesale Manager to lead and expand our sourcing and sales operations across key markets in Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Turkey.
This person should bring deep knowledge of:
Local retail and distribution dynamics
Supply-side ecosystems (both food processors and raw producers)
Cross-border trade patterns in the region
The ideal candidate is well-networked and understands the landscape, key players, pain points, and trade trends that shape the food sector in these markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, producers, and food processors
Engage with mid-size and large retailers, wholesalers, and distributors in the region
Help onboard and grow strategic accounts on our marketplace
Support export efforts by helping local companies access new foreign buyers
Track market trends and contribute feedback to help evolve our platform
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in food/FMCG wholesale, trade, or distribution
Strong understanding of food supply chain and trading practices in at least 3 of the listed markets
Fluency in Azerbaijani (required)
Fluency in English or Russian (required)
Turkish language (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and drive commercial outcomes
Willingness to travel when needed
Compensation:
Base salary + commission from sales
