Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS & DNS Administration)

Nauchsoft is an IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 36 years and continue growing. Now we are planning to expand out team and looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS & DNS Administration).

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable and self-driven Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, DNS administration, and DevOps practices. This role involves supporting and engineering scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments, while collaborating with both internal teams and external clients.

! You will be working closely with Texas-based teams, so availability during US business hours is essential (CST overlap until 4–5 PM or late evening EU time) !

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, and more
• Manage DNS configurations and cloud-based network infrastructure
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and Linux virtual machines in AWS
• Implement and support DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation)
• Monitor cloud system performance and ensure availability and scalability
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery and system stability
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions
• Document configurations and maintain best practices for cloud operations

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a strong focus on AWS
• Solid experience in DNS administration and cloud network configurations (VPC, subnets, routing, etc.)
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps tools and processes
• Proficient in administering both Linux and Windows environments in the cloud
• Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or CloudFormation)
• Strong English communication skills (B2–C1+): able to clearly communicate ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively resolve issues without waiting for assignments
