1. General Overview
The Student Experience Manager is responsible for enhancing student engagement, satisfaction, and retention by designing and implementing a wide range of student-focused programs and initiatives. This position plays a central role in creating a vibrant and supportive campus environment, ensuring students feel connected, informed, and empowered throughout their university journey.
2. Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in student services or higher education.
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of student development theories and trends in higher education.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
Active listening and problem-solving abilities to support diverse student populations.
3. Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and implement student engagement programs, events, and initiatives.
Collaborate with student organizations, clubs, and university departments to create diverse involvement opportunities.
Serve as a central point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and feedback; coordinate follow-ups with appropriate units.
Support students in navigating university resources, services, and policies.
Work in close partnership with academic advisors, counselors, and other student support services to promote student success.
Design and implement retention initiatives to improve student persistence and graduation rates.
Conduct outreach and provide follow-up to students identified as at-risk or in need of support.
Collect, analyze, and report data on student engagement and satisfaction to guide strategic decisions.
Develop and manage communication channels to inform students about events, resources, and involvement opportunities.
Assist in the creation of promotional and marketing materials to increase student participation.
Foster a strong sense of community by building relationships with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate efforts with academic departments, student affairs, residence life, and other campus units to enrich the student experience.
Complete tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor in a timely and responsible manner.
Ensure compliance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and internal university policies.
Maintain professional conduct and adhere to institutional labor regulations.
In the event of dismissal, ensure proper transfer of documentation, digital files, and inventory per supervisor’s instructions and in accordance with institutional procedures.
