JOB TITLE: Night Manager

DEPARTMENT: Front Office

INSPIRED AND SUPPORTED BY: Front Office Manager & Director of Rooms & Quality

LOCATION: Rixos Borovoe Hotel – a luxury resort property of Accor family surrounded by the pine trees of the Borovoe National Park and located on Shchuchye Lake (Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CONTRIBUTION:

  • Manages all night hotel operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers
  • Handles complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with other departments
  • Timely and efficient interaction with hotel team in emergency situations
  • Interacts with customers to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction
  • Implements the customer recognition/service program, communicating and ensuring the process
  • Trains staff and monitors adherence to all credit policies and procedures to reduce bad debts and rebates
  • Supervises daily Front Desk shift operations and ensures compliance with all policies, standards and procedures
  • Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently, disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs)
  • Performs all duties at the Front Desk as necessary
  • Provide department orientation and training of the hotel service standards, procedures and programs
  • Constantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalism
  • Motivates and provides a work environment which brings out the best in team members

REQUIRED and WHAT MAKES YOU EXTRAORDINARY FOR THIS ROLE:

  • minimum 3 years' work experience in a similar position in an International Hotel chain properties
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Opera PMS
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language (Kazakh & Russian preferably as well)

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills

  • Good communication and customer contact skills

  • Results and service oriented with an eye for details

  • Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations

  • A team player & builder & motivator & self-starter

  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
