Specialist of Scientific Library (User services division)

Functional responsibilities:

• User service and access provision to the library collection;
• Consultation of users in selecting documents from the open access collection and during work at computer stations in reading rooms;
• Ensuring user satisfaction with library and bibliographic information services;
• Collaboration with student club groups interested in literature, poetry, and science;
• Participation in the implementation of cultural and educational activities for Library users;
• Arrangement of the library collection in reading rooms according to the classification system adopted by the Library;
• Monitoring user compliance with the Library's Rules of Use;
• Experience sharing with University Library staff and strategic partners of the University;
• Execution of other tasks as assigned by the Library and University administration;
• Participation in the annual inventory of the library collection;
• Performing subject librarian functions;
• Timely and high-quality execution of assignments from the Library and University leadership within the scope of official duties and authority.

Requirements:

• Higher or postgraduate education
• Languages: Kazakh, Russian, English (Intermediate-B1)

Working conditions:

• Official registration for work under the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Working hours: 5/2 from 08:30-17:30, lunch 12:30-13:30
