The Role & Responsibilities

As a Product Designer on the Growth team, you will be the architect of our user's journey. You will have a profound impact on the entire product creation lifecycle, from initial ideation and validation to final construction and release.
This role requires a deep understanding of not just aesthetics, but the psychological drivers of user behaviour. You will use your expertise to craft secure, intuitive, and persuasive experiences that directly contribute to user acquisition, conversion, and long-term loyalty.

Your work must be grounded in data and evidence, and you will be expected to justify every design decision with a clear rationale for the value it brings to both the user and the business. This role also requires the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in the design process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Design Ownership: Shepherd design projects through the full product lifecycle: from abstract ideas and user research to validated concepts, pixel-perfect UI, and post-launch analysis.
  • Applied Psychology in UX: Go beyond usability to understand the why. Apply principles of behavioural psychology and cognitive science to create designs that build trust, reduce friction, and motivate user action.
  • Growth-Driven Design: Utilise UX and UI as tools to drive key growth metrics. Design A/B tests, optimise conversion funnels, and create user flows that encourage adoption, upgrades, and referrals.
  • Secure by Design: Integrate security best practices into the core of the user experience. Design intuitive interfaces for authentication, data privacy controls, and secure transactions that protect users without sacrificing usability.
  • Data-Informed & Evidence-Based Design: Move beyond intuition. Base your design decisions on quantitative data (analytics, A/B test results) and qualitative evidence (user interviews, usability testing), creating a clear, defensible link between your work and its intended outcome.
  • High-Fidelity Prototyping & Validation: Create compelling, interactive prototypes to rigorously test and validate hypotheses with real users before a single line of code is written.
  • Systemic Thinking: Develop and scale our design system, ensuring consistency and quality while enabling the team to build faster and more efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Designer, demonstrating a strong understanding of the entire software and app development lifecycle.
  • A portfolio that clearly articulates your role in the product creation process—showcasing not just final UIs, but your research, analysis, validation, and justification for the value your designs delivered.
  • A demonstrable, evidence-fact-driven approach to design. You are comfortable with data and can articulate how you've used it to inform your work.
  • Solid understanding of the psychological principles that underpin user experience design.
  • Experience designing for security and user privacy is highly desirable.
  • Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping using Figma.
  • Exceptional ability to justify design choices, linking them directly to user needs and business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building a strong rapport with product managers and engineers to understand how digital products are built and shipped.
