Position Summary:
The Head of International Affairs is responsible for developing and implementing the internationalization strategy of PDP University. Key duties include managing international partnerships, academic mobility programs, international projects and grants, enhancing the university’s presence in global rankings, and pursuing international accreditation. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and proven experience in the field of international education.
Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and Internationalization
Develop and implement the university’s internationalization strategy.
Enhance the global visibility and recognition of the PDP University brand.
International Cooperation and Partnerships
Establish and strengthen partnerships with foreign universities, embassies, and international organizations.
Draft, negotiate, and oversee cooperation agreements, dual-degree programs, and joint projects.
Academic Mobility and Support for International Students
Organize student and faculty exchange programs (e.g., Erasmus+, DAAD).
Coordinate visa support, arrival procedures, and integration processes for international students and staff.
International Accreditation and Global Rankings
Lead the preparation and execution of international accreditation processes.
Collect and analyze data for participation in international rankings (QS, THE, U-Multirank, etc.).
Collaborate with university departments to improve key ranking indicators.
International Projects and Grants
Identify, apply for, and coordinate international grant opportunities and projects.
Ensure compliance with donor requirements and timely submission of reports.
Global Positioning and Promotion
Represent the university at international forums, fairs, and academic conferences.
Strengthen the university’s image and expand its presence on the global stage.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure adherence to international and national educational standards and regulations.
Prepare regular analytical reports for university leadership.
Master’s degree or higher in International Relations, Educational Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in international affairs within the higher education sector.
Strong understanding of international education systems, accreditation procedures, and global university ranking methodologies.
Hands-on experience in managing international projects, grants, and academic mobility programs.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Uzbek and/or Russian is an advantage.
Proven leadership, intercultural communication, project management, and team coordination skills.
Proficiency in modern digital tools and educational platforms (e.g., Bitrix24, LMS, Erasmus+ Mobility Tools).
