Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
- GE Frame 6 and Frame 9 Gas Turbines
- Siemens and Skoda Steam Turbines
- Centrifugal, reciprocating, and screw compressors
- Gas and diesel engines
- Gearboxes and generators
- Lead Hot Gas Path and Major Inspections of gas turbines.
- Lead Minor and Major Inspections of steam turbines.
- Perform dry gas seal and wet seal replacements, and compressor bundle change-outs.
- Install and align couplings, seals, and bearings.
- Use hydraulic torque and bolting equipment.
- Perform laser alignment and borescope inspections.
- Use precision measuring tools for equipment diagnostics.
- Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Support outage planning and execution (pre-, during, and post-outage).
- Prepare method statements, procedures, quality control plans, and inspection/test plans.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and OEM manuals.
- Prepare daily progress and field service reports.
- Supervise and train mechanical team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, and compressors.
- Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS platforms.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, leadership, and safety-oriented mindset.
- Karabatan/Kashagan yards, 28/28
